I'm really excited about this. Ian Mobsby is one of the most intelligent and articulate spokespersons on the Emerging Church. Hailing from London, he has been at the forefront of conversations on liturgy and popular culture, new forms of worship within ancient traditions, and mission in the twenty-first century. In my interviews for "Emerging Churches, Ian served as a great conversation partner; in addition, I found Ian to be a prophetic practitioner of experimental forms of worship.
On Friday, June 15th at 3pm-5pm, in Travis Auditorium at Fuller Seminary, Ian will be speaking on "Church, Mission & Evangelism in a new age of holistic spirituality". It should be great. The event is open, so please consider yourselves invited...
Of course, the one week I'm out of town! Do you know if it will be recorded?

I think I'll be there...thanks for the heads up! I saw the signs around campus this week while I was at the Allelon Summer Institute, which was great, by the way. But I didn't see Ian's name. That makes all the difference!

I wanted to comment because you teach at Fuller. I live in Santa Ana...and I've been praying and contemplating attending seminary.
I have a numerous of questions on the issue, but the new Fuller location near John Wayne...so close to me. I'd like to talk with you or someone about how it would look to attend Fuller Seminary. Kind of surprises me how many local bloggers I find on here. Pretty exciting.
Thank you!
